Terry White

Whitey lost his innocence the night the Restless Youth brought down the house at the St Ignatius College Prep talent show in 1977. The next year began a long stay in Southern Illinois. He played solo acoustic shows around SIU and began a lifetime of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. While the country was rocking to high pitched vocals of Journey, Rush, Zepplin and Styx he was strumming Dylan and Neil Young tunes. Soon he teamed up with Kevin James and formed the Modern Day Saints. They toured the country in a dilapidated school bus playing corner dives, roadhouses, nightclubs, frat parties and the occasional theatre.
After recording a slew of original music the Saints moved to Los Angeles where their American roots sound was lost on the remnants of the LA hair band scene. That is also where Rob Pierce joined the group on drums.
In 1992 they disbanded.
Whitey moved back to Chicago in 1994 and reconnected with James and Pierce to form the American rock band the YellowHammers. In 2007 he released his solo record Our Separate Ways
